It’s a myth that dirty hair is preferable for a hair appointment! It can actually hinder the color or highlighting process, and if you’re getting a full service cut, buildup of oils & product can result in the need for extra shampoos, and we might not have time to fully dry & style. I recommend washing your hair within 24 hours of your appointment, & come in with minimal or no product.

You’ll be sitting for most of your appointment, so clothing that is comfortable is best! And while you’ll be covered with a cape & towels, drips & splatters may happen, so leave the expensive items home, and wear that free promo T-shirt you got at the new car wash opening. Robes are available if you’d like to change into one instead.

Earrings & necklaces in particular can get in the way of many different services. There’s also the potential for something to accidentally get cut or discolored.
